Swim School

Eden Swim School is run by three qualified teachers, Karoline, Emily and Maja. They teach children from 2 .5 years through to stage 10 of the National Plan for teaching swimming.

All children’s classes last for 30 minutes.

 

Parent & Child Classes

For children aged 2.5 to 3.5 years.  Classes are held in the early afternoon.  Parents are assisted with their child in the pool for basic water familiarisation.

 

Pre-School Classes

  These classes are for children from 3.5 up to school age, are in the early afternoon and do not require a supporting adult in the water once the pupil is confident to join the class on their own.

Up to 4 pupils are in a class with 1 teacher. By the time the pupils go to school we expect them to be water confident and a few of them will be swimming.

 

School Aged Classes

After school classes are for school children normally aged 4 and over in groups of 4, with one teacher. Because of the pandemic new beginners may need a supporting adult in the water with them. Classes are Monday to Friday in term time, from 3.45 to 6.45 pm.
